NICK
My name is Nick Dimisianos and I am 24 years old, born in Guantanamo, Cuba and raised in Athens (Greece). Due to the economic situation in my family (unemployed mother since I was 12, death of my father at 17), I was forced to take life in my hands very early and become independent.
So, I found myself from the age of 17 until today to have five years working experience in various workplaces such as advertising, security companies, in restaurants as a waiter/treasurer even roaster as well as an employee in one of the most reputed shipping agencies in the port of Piraeus. I have also completed a two-year post-Lykeio course and did my military service, now I am an undergraduate student in business and management.
After my undergraduate degree I planned to a master’s degree in international business and work in this area with a future view to start my own business. However, I finally started my business halfway through my course and I have a big vision for Nick and Greek. As a character I do not accept failure and so far through hard work I have achieved every goal.
I’m Toni born in Albania and bought up on the Island of Skiathos, Greece. From a tender age I’ve been passionate and driven in everything I do, starting my first job of making and selling shells at 9 years old. My dream job was to become an engineer and I studied hard to achieve this.
I moved to London in 2015 and had great opportunities to work in various food establishments giving me a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience.Using all of these expertises, I’m proud to be part of Nickandgreek, I’m excited to share my love of food especially recreating the famous ‘Gyros’!
